Meet Lainie
Lainie Roldan, MS, MBA Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (she/her) Certified Animal-Assisted Intervention Specialist (C-AAIS00268) Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist (381444)
If you’re managing a demanding career, caring for others, and trying to hold everything together while quietly feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or exhausted, you are not alone. I help adults navigate stress, burnout, parenting demands, and life transitions with warmth, insight, and practical support.
My approach is deeply client-centered, grounded in empathy, authenticity, and respect for your unique story. I believe meaningful healing begins when you feel truly seen and understood without judgment, pressure, or the expectation to have it all figured out. Therapy with me is collaborative, thoughtful, and paced with intention, creating space for self-awareness, emotional relief, and realistic strategies that fit your life.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent 25 years as a corporate executive, giving me firsthand insight into leadership stress, high-stakes decision-making, and the challenge of balancing professional success with family life. I understand how easy it is to put your own needs last while caring for everyone else.
My personal life has also deeply shaped my work. I am the proud mother of two amazing daughters currently in college, and for eight years I had the privilege of serving as a foster mom, experiences that have given me profound insight into parenting, attachment, resilience, and the emotional complexity of caring for children through different stages of life.As a Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist, I also bring specialized knowledge in supporting children, adolescents, and families through emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, burnout, parenting stress, and work-life imbalance, helping them reduce emotional overload, strengthen boundaries, and reconnect with themselves in sustainable, meaningful ways.
For clients who benefit from a more experiential and calming approach, I also offer animal-assisted therapy as part of the healing process.
If you are feeling stretched thin, anxious, or unsure how to balance work, family, and your own well-being, you do not have to navigate it alone. I offer a calm, supportive space where you can feel heard, gain clarity, and begin creating meaningful change. When you’re ready, I’m here to help.
